Sisterhood Strength
The Three Meem Foundation has made remarkable progress in fostering an inclusive environment that prioritises women’s participation in community-building efforts. Under the leadership of Sadia Jaffery and Dr Fozia, a series of meetings have empowered women to take active roles in their communities, leading to the formation of sustainable, women-led working groups to address local issues. Health has been a central focus, with workshops on mental health, maternal health, and preventive care providing women with essential knowledge and resources to make informed choices. These initiatives not only promote individual well-being but also strengthen women’s roles as integral members of their communities.
In addition to health, the foundation has championed women’s participation in sports, organising events like sports days, fitness sessions, and training workshops to break barriers and encourage physical activity. This has fostered confidence, resilience, and inclusivity in sports while challenging stereotypes. Beyond sports, the foundation has actively engaged women in social, cultural, and civic activities, empowering them to take part in decision-making and community projects. By amplifying women’s voices and celebrating their contributions, the Three Meem Foundation exemplifies a holistic approach to building a more inclusive society.
