Three Meem Supplementary School
- Youth Education and Development
The Three Meem Foundation launched its Weekend Supplementary School in 2019. Over the years, we have utilized multiple venues, continuously improving and achieving success. In December 2023, we relocated to our new venue at Firs Primary School. This facility includes 12 classrooms, a dining hall, and a main hall for assemblies.
Currently, over 165 children, aged 5 to 14, attend classes on Sundays from 10 AM to 1 PM, with additional online classes on Fridays. Our dedicated team comprises 14 teachers, supported by administrative staff Sadia and Alkuma Usman, the school coordinator. All staff members hold enhanced DBS certificates and have completed safeguarding training. We also regularly offer placement opportunities to students for volunteer experience, with adult volunteers assisting in school management.
Teachers follow structured curricula and lesson plans. Each year concludes with final exams, followed by a parents’ evening and a grand assembly. Our operations are streamlined using cloud-based software that facilitates communication and management between teachers and parents.
School assemblies are held twice a month, with junior and senior sections led by Abdus and Saeed, respectively. During these assemblies, children present various topics, and high-performing students receive certificates of achievement, boosting their confidence and helping them develop additional skills alongside academic progress.
