A Transformative Journey Through the Speaker Club

Since its inception in 2019, the Three Meem Foundation’s Speaker Club has emerged as a beacon for youth empowerment, fostering critical communication skills and public speaking confidence. Over the years, this flagship program has positively impacted more than 250 young participants, equipping them with the tools to excel in their personal and professional lives.

Program Highlights

The Speaker Club offers an intensive 8-week course for boys and girls aged 12-18, based on the globally acclaimed Oracy Cambridge Skill Framework, which highlights the essential elements of effective communication, including:

  • Physical skills: Voice projection, tone, and body language.
  • Linguistic skills: Vocabulary choice and grammar.
  • Cognitive skills: Structure, content, and reasoning.
  • Social & emotional skills: Interaction, confidence, and empathy.

This comprehensive framework ensures participants develop a well-rounded approach to public speaking, making the program a valuable asset in both academic and real-world settings.

Expert Coaching Team

The program’s success is driven by a team of dedicated coaches who bring diverse expertise and passion to the initiative. The current cohort benefits from the guidance of:

  • Muhammed Haque, a seasoned communication trainer with over 10 years experience.
  • Noman Mohammad, an English teacher at Altrincham Grammar School for Boys (AGSB), renowned for his innovative teaching methods.

Their tailored approach ensures every participant receives personalized feedback and encouragement, fostering a growth mindset and a supportive learning environment.

Lasting Impact

Participants have consistently praised the Speaker Club for its transformative influence, noting substantial improvements in their ability to articulate ideas clearly, manage stage presence, and engage audiences effectively. The skills acquired extend beyond the course, preparing youth for academic pursuits, leadership roles, and professional opportunities.

The Speaker Club is not just a training program; it’s a platform for empowerment, inspiring the next generation to find their voice and use it with confidence and purpose.

Speech Competition

At the conclusion of each Speaker Club course, Three Meem Foundation organizes a speech competition to showcase the participants’ progress and skills.

The grand finale, a speech competition, was held on December 14, with students competing in their respective age groups. A panel of three esteemed judges oversees the event, ensuring a fair and professional evaluation of the contestants. Judges include Sadia Raza, experience corporate coach, Noman Mohammad Englis teacher AGSB and Prof Dr Ali Kashif Bashir.  Certificates of participation were awarded by Cllr.
